Meet this weeks Featured Designer *Miss Mint* from Peppermint Creative!

It's time for another featured Designer on the MyMemories blog! We'd like to introduce you to our friend, *Miss Mint*! She's the creative mind behind *Peppermint Creative* - she's got some super fun stuff in her shop and check below for the GREAT SALE she's sharing this week! Here's a few fun things that *Miss Mint* would like you to know about her!

  Hi guys! I’m Miss Mint from Peppermint Creative and I’m so excited to be here with you at MyMemories. I’m the new kid on the block over here; I just launched my store here earlier this month but I’ve been designing digital scrapbook products at Peppermint Creative for 6 years so you can expect to see lots more fantastic products coming in the next few months. My professional background is in writing and graphic design and that’s really what I love. Truth be told (between you, me and the billions of people with internet access) I’m not much of a scrapbooker myself. My real passion is design and I love creating products and watching others bring them to life through their pages and projects. It all started a little over 6 years ago when I attempted to make my first and last ‘traditional’ paper scrapbook. I was not enjoying the tedious process and hated that I couldn’t make changes once I’d glued everything down. I must have been on the computer looking for titles and phrases for my pages and accidentally stumbled across digital scrapbooking. At the time (almost 7 years ago) there wasn’t nearly as much out there as there is now, but there was enough to peak my interest. But instead of being interested in scrapbooking, I was immediately interested in designing. So I built my site and in the few months it took to get it up and running I started making my own products, originally just as a hobby. In April 2006, Peppermint Creative was born and it soon very unexpectedly snowballed into an actual business. Now almost 6 years later (where does the time go?!) designing has become my full time job. I’m so thrilled to be doing what I love for a living. What’s not to love about about a job where you can wear jammies to work?
