Hello Everyone,
I'm so happy to be the featured designer this week. This is such a nice chance to get to know everyone as I'm pretty new. I just started in February :) Well for starters, I've always been one of those artsy kind of people, in my garden or in my craft room. I'm still a traditional scrapbooker as well as digital. I started designing my own kits a few years ago when I couldn't find kits that focused on the photos that I was taking - sports. My youngest son was in so many sports and I was just at a loss when looking for sports kits. Anyway, that started this hobby of mine, or obsession as my hubby might say :) I've been designing freebies for over a year and offering them on my blog.
I live in Northern Wisconsin with my husband of 26 years and our Shorkie puppy - Chewy. Our beautiful collie, Lassie, of 13 years passed away last summer. We have 4 children that are all grown up now and either living on their own with spouses or in college. I recently retired from my day job as a Special Education Assistant in the school district, working with children that have special needs. It was a fulfilling job and I'm sure I'll miss all the wonderful people I've had the priveledge of working with. And now I"ll be making new friends! So I hope that you will stop by my blog or facebook page to say hello now and then. I can always be reached at snackpack_gu@yahoo.com.
Making digital scrapbooking kits really fulfills that creative vein in my heart. I use photoshop CS5 to design and of course MyMemories to scrap with. I like to scrap with the kits I make so that I'm sure the embellishments will coordinate and work with each other. Of course, everything is quality checked. I like a variety of styles so some of my kits are whimsical/cute and some vintage. A little of that and a little of this I guess. If you have any requests, please drop me a line. I'd be happy to whip something up.

I just downloaded the basketball kit because it's so fun and I have two step-sons that play basketball and I have taken a lot of pictures of them playing so this will be great for those pages :)
Thanks for the great kits!
Hi SnackPackGu, it's nice to meet you! :)
I'm a newbie scrapper - digital, regular, you name it. I'm new at it. But, I found MyMemories, and fell in love with their stuff and couldn't wait to try it out. :)
Your packs look so great - I like the different styles and that you don't stay wholly whimsical or Vintage. It's nice to have a choice. Although all your packs look fabulous, I think I really like the English Horse Templates the best - but it was difficult to choose!
I was wondering if you have ever thought about doing a sports pack for karate. I'd be interested in something like that!
Have a great week!
Cheers -
Amanda
Hi Snack Pack Gu,
Congrats for becoming this week Featured Designer. Your kits are so lovely, especially the Beary Dreams Kit. It is so cute and love the fresh color too. Thanks for the chance to win iy
Great kits! I like the Hear the Music kits.
Wow! Your kits are really stunning! and what a great idea to have sports themed kit! Good luck!!!
Thanks for sharing with us and thanks for a chance to win one of your kits. Your work is beautiful.
Debbie,
I absolutely adore the basketball hoops kit. I have no boys but my little 4 year old daughter wants to play basketball. I hope she does because that is such a cute kit to scrapbook with. I also LOVE the polka dotted egg in the freebee kit. Very nice designs!
Kristi
Cute kits you have, I especially love your Hoops (Basketball) one. I dopn't have any basketball players, but it sure is cute. I have soccer players and hockey players here.
Hi, Debbie. Your work is very nice. I've added the "Hear the Music" kit, clusters, borders, and accents to my Wish List for my next order. I have to say that "Hear the Music" is my favorite of your kits. I also added Hoops for Boys. I'm gathering ideas and products now for an album about my brother that I plan to include both traditional and digital pages. Your Hoops for Boys gives me inspiration. I'll be back for more! I love northern Wisconsin, BTW. I traveled through the UP of MI over to WI to Price County one summer to visit the place my grandmother and her family of birth lived - Butternut Lake. I loved its beauty and history.
I love the pastel colors in the Hear the Music kit and add-ons.
I was checking out your blog... I don't see the winter wonders set on the my memories site? Is that something that we could get there?
Hello New Friends :)
Thank you for the sweet compliments.
I'm so happy to hear that you like my basketball kit :) My son played on a BB team from the time
he was in second grade all the way through Varsity as a Senior in High School. I can certainly do a Karate kit in the hear future :) I have a football kit coming out very soon and Winter Wonders was loaded up to the MyMemories site early this week. It should go live within a day or two.
Caroline - The UP of MI and upper Wisconsin is indeed beautiful. In the city that I live in, Superior, we actually have a Municipal Forest two blocks away. So we have deer , coyotes and bears in our yards as visitors now and then. The deer have become pests actually. They eat the trees and flowers and the poop all over the yard. It's not pretty, lol.
Hugs,
Debbie Reichert (snackpackgu)
I love the Horse kit cause I used to spend years riding and training horses...in the English style riding. Not many kits out there like that, most are country style. Also love the Beary Dreams cause of the colors and because I love bears. Being Native American and my totem spirit animal guide is the bear. So I happen to collect anything with bears. I love your kits. And thanks for the cute freebie kit! <3
beautiful....just beautiful!!
