Using fasteners in your layouts with Happy Scrap Arts

I’m sure you all use fasteners in your digital scrapbook pages. The most used are the paperclip and the staple I think. But there are many more fasteners that you can use on your scrapbook pages. Binder clips and pins are some of them. Here are some ways to use fasteners on your pages.

Fasteners can be used on papers, frames, with tags and photos. But you can also use them with other elements, like branches and flowers for example, that is a wonderful way to embellish your scrapbook pages. Use them to attach different papers in different colors and sizes behind your photo. Or to attach tags on your photos. If you play around with some shadows it will make it look really realistic. And with a binder clip you can attach many elements on a frame, paper of photo. You can also use fasteners to create clusters.

You can create wonderful cluster frames with fasteners. Just take some simple frames, in different colors, put them together, one behind the other and turn some of them a bit, add some shadows, and then attach the frames with the binder clip, paperclip or a pin. You can even embellish your cluster frame by adding some flowers, leaves, ribbons or other elements.

Fasteners are great to use on journal cards too. You can use them to attach the journal card on your page, or to attach several journal cards together.

 I used a binder clip with elements on the paper, then I created a clustered frame with several colors and attached it with a paperclip. I attached the tag with a pin.
