Welcome to my new blog series, “Photo & Layout
Inspiration.” With each post, I will challenge you to think outside the box,
step outside your comfort zone, and try something new!
Today, let’s look at fonts. Do you tend to use the same
fonts in all of your layouts? Sometimes
using the same font is ideal, because it offers cohesiveness. But sometimes using different fonts can be
fun and add interest to your pages, journaling, or word art.
Typically, it is best not to use more than 3 font styles on
one page, sometimes only 2 is best. Mixing a cursive style with a print style,
varying font sizes, and using text with different weights (widths), can create
great interest!
Today I would like to challenge you to create a page using
more than one font, using the points noted above as guidelines.
