Loading and Using Custom Shapes in MyMemories Suite

MyMemories Suite is pre-loaded with lots of shapes. However you can also buy custom shapes in the store from our designers, or you can make your own .svg custom shapes to use in the software.

Have you ever seen these shapes in the store and wanted to buy them, but  you had no idea how to use them?  Well today I am going to show you just how easy it is to use those files.

First off in order for it be considered a custom shape and for it to work in MyMemories Suite, it must be in SVG format.  Any shape pack that you purchase from the store will be in this format and will work just as expected.  If It is not in SVG format you will need to convert it to SVG in order to load it in the software. Not all SVG formats will work in MyMemories Suite. So first tip, play it safe and get your shapes from the MyMemories store :) You will find them by clicking here.

Let's Get Started
When you go to load a shape you probably go the Add button. When you open that up all you see are the preloaded shapes that come with the MyMemories Software.

Now close this window and go back over to the right panel and under Shapes and Lines click on Custom (you will see it at the bottom).

Navigate to the folder that contains the .svg shape files that you want to use.

Now you see the .svg files and you can pick the one you want to use. You can add your own custom color, photo, or paper to make the shape look any way you want
