Before I met my Husband, I was told I would never be able to have children. I chalked that up to being true, but God answered our prayers to have this amazing young man come into our lives. He's so special, not because he's my son (which is true that he is so special), but because he's Autistic. When he was 18 months old, we were told that he'd never talk. Two and a half years later, he taught himself to read, reading aloud college text books and could completely understand what was being said in them. He taught himself how to understand the workings of today's computers, and has been repairing them for people since he was 8 years old. This year, he graduates from high school, and is focused on earning a degree in computer networking and administration so that he can open up his own IT business. How long have you been designing? I have been designing digital scrapbooking kits for just over 10 years this year. What state do you call home? Rural area of East Texas What is your favorite thing to design? My favorite theme I love to create around is vintage inspiration.  It reminds me of my Grandma who loved dainty vintage things. What is the worst job you ever had? My worst job was my first job right after high school.  I worked at a McDonald's in one of the local malls.  I think I lasted there 2 weeks before it was too much for me to handle. Which is your favorite meal of the day: breakfast, lunch, or dinner? My favorite meal is dinner.  95% of the time I cook our meals, and it's a time where we can all reconnect from busy days and schedules.  It's special family time for us. What is an essential part of your daily routine? I am a Type 2 diabetic, so I have to check my blood sugar numbers a minimum of 4 times a day. If you could relive one moment in your life, which would it be? It would be the day I married my Husband.  We had a simple JP ceremony with our own vows.  I married my best friend and partner in crime that day, and I would do it over again in a heartbeat.
