Hello everyone!  I'm Lisa from Designs by Lisa Minor!  I'm originally from Ohio but we moved a little over 25 years ago to the great state of Texas!  I was a hairdresser before "retiring" and entering my current position as CEO/CFO of "The Minor Household" and then, of course, Designs by Lisa Minor.  I've been married to my very patient husband for 34 years.  Poor guy didn't know what he was getting into.  We have 4 kids, ranging from 33 to 20. All of them live nearby (or with us), so we are blessed to spend a lot of time with them (and blessed they still WANT to spend time with us). My mom moved to Texas to be with us for health reasons 10 year ago. I scrapbook A LOT of pages each year to preserve our family's heritage! What movie could you quote the best? It's a tie between the Princess Bride and Drop Dead Gorgeous. If you could own ANY animal as a pet, what would it be? A Pygmy Marmoset - Finger Monkey. What is the best gift you have ever been given? A jewelry box from my stepfather Walt when I was 10 which has my name engraved on it.  He passed when I was 13.  I still use it. Are you a morning person or a night owl? Both, but get out of my way in the afternoon.  I'm not havin' any of it! Have you ever met a celebrity or famous person? Yes, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, former President George W.
