I was born and for the most part raised in the beautiful state of West Virginia.  As a small child I also lived in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Virginia, but my parents moved us back to West Virginia in 1976 and I have been here since.  My roots are firmly planted in my mountains. What is the best gift you have been given? Salvation!  This sinner is forever grateful for God's greatest gift. What is your proudest accomplishment? My proudest accomplishment is my family.  I am Momma to Freddy, Deniele, Zak & Dylan.  I am Nanny to Riley, Remi Jade, & Vinny (Rowan is due June 25th) and Foster Nanny to Nova & Kenny (who we hope to adopt soon). And I am Fur Momma to our 3 dogs (Dixon, Maggie & Zoey), 2 cats (Vader & Negan) & guinea pig (Jellybean)! Have you ever met a celebrity or famous person? I had the opportunity to attend the Billy Graham Crusade in Norfolk, Virginia many years ago with our church group.  Johnny Cash and June Carter-Cash were his special guests.  We got to meet and shake hands with Billy Graham and the Cashes which was pretty exciting for an 11-year-old. Do you collect anything? I'm a huge Elvis Presley fan and collect memorabilia.  Over the years I have collected newspapers, magazines, original albums, photos, figurines, etc... Two of my favorite pieces of my collection are an original concert poster from the 1950s and a limited edition Cabbage Patch Elvis doll sold only at Graceland.
