What is your favorite holiday? I'm an ELF, so of course it's CHRISTMAS!
Do you collect anything? My bonus daughter and I collect Christmas decorations from estate sales and yard sales to decorate our house at Christmas. We honestly have every room of the house decorated with trees or other decorations each year. Everyone says it's like walking into a Christmas Wonderland 😁 We haven't quite reached the Griswold status with the outside decorations yet...🎅
If you could own ANY animal as a pet, what would it be? I had always wanted a pot belly pig. (Yes, I'm a country girl.) We just recently readopted "Peppa" who we were forced to re-home when my son was injured a year ago. We are all so happy that our Peppa is back home! We also have three dogs (Dixon, Maggie & Zoey), two cats (Vader & Negan), and two guinea pigs (Daryl & Carol). We would eventually like to get a horse or two, some goats, and some chickens. What is your proudest accomplishment? My proudest accomplishments are my four beautiful children, my bonus children, and my six adorable grandchildren. Kids: Freddy, ReAnna, Zachary & Dylan Grandkids: Riley, RemiJade, Nova, Kenny, Vinnie & Rowan. And my bonus kids: Tess, Ashley & Robbie. They are my life!
What song would you say best sums you up? Without fully explaining why because it would take the almost 60 years I've been living to completely explain, the song that best sums me up is "My Way". To be brief: Parents who should have divorced (better yet-never gotten married); I Married at 18 to get out of the chaos; Dad died at 19 which destroyed me; I lived the next 12 years in an abusive marriage; Raised Southern Baptist, but my beliefs align more with Church of God. At 30 yrs old, with four children, I had enough and filed for a divorce against the wishes of everyone in my family. Life has not been an easy one. My family has never fully forgiven me for the choices that I made (church & divorce). I've struggled with bills raising them alone and my children may not have always had the BEST, but they grew up knowing what it was to have a parent that loved them unconditionally. They are exceptional adults now!
To quote the song: "I faced it all and I stood tall And did it my way".
To finish off we would love to share some of QueenBrat Digital Designs' favorite layouts: |
