What is your favorite childhood memory? Most of my childhood memories revolve around family holidays most of which were at our family's beach cottage. We spent every July school holidays there and since my birthday fell during this time I had every birthday from my 10th to my 21st at The Cottage. In turn our own daughters love being there too - as a special treat for their 10th birthdays we took them each with a group of their friends.  Such special memories! Who is a very special person in your life? This just has to be my very dear husband, Ray. We have been married for just short of 50 years, 49 in September to be exact. He is just the most wonderfully supportive husband anyone could have (not to mention it is wonderful having my very own in house IT consultant!) I give thanks to God for him every single day. What is your proudest accomplishment? I could not be prouder than I am of our two amazing daughters - I often look back and think of things I could have done better but seeing what wonderfully mature young women they are, what great mothers they have turned out to be, we must have done something right! Aside from the necessities, what one thing could you not go a day without? Withouth doubt, scrapbooking! I don't consider myself any arty scrapper, I scrap real life events. I am so blessed that both girls send me photos and notes of all their daily lives so that I can produce annual albums for them. It does my heart so much good to see how much they and their children value them so much. What is your favorite holiday? I am using the South African meaning of holiday (others may call it a vacation!) Ray & I love camping in our wonderful Afrispoor Buffel - a 4x4 caravan. The furtherest we have been with it (& far the most difficult) was through Botswana. Aside from camping we love visiting our two very dear daughters and their families - one in England & one in Ireland. To finish off we would love to share some of Meryl Bartho’s favorite layouts:
