Q&A With the Designer
What is your childhood memory?
I
have many favorite childhood memories but one that sticks out are all
the times we spent in Chattanooga, TN and Chickamauga, GA with my
family. My dad was a southern gentleman and I adored all my time spent
with his side of my family. I miss them so much living here in
Michigan.
What was your favorite subject in school?
While
in school, college in this case, I loved anything to do with
Anthropology or, more specifically, Archaeology. Archaeology was a
passion for me and I spent many hours learning and practicing it.
What was your favorite toy as a child?
I
know that I loved my fashion plates and my Barbie Dream House. I loved
all things creative and both allowed me to be wonderfully creative.
Have you ever met a celebrity or famous person?
Well,
I have met a few and my favorite was Eric Burdon who was the lead
singer of the Animals in the sixties. I worked for him for several years
designing his website. We are still in contact.
Aside from the necessities, what one thing could you not go a day without?
Well,
I could go without it but would really miss it, my kindle. I read
voraciously and I spend hours on it and can lie in bed while I doze and
also read with one eye open. I have narcolepsy, so that is essential.
LOL.
To finish off we would love to share some of Aimee Harrison’s favorite layouts:
